  This was the very worst lunch I have ever eaten! We have gone here for lunch many, many times in the past, but apparently, management or ownership has changed and so has the food quality. We ordered the hot opening roast turkey sandwich, that comes with mashed potatoes and gravy and a hot vegetable, also with a soup or salad option. I ordered the salad with Italian dressing. The salad came right out of a bag of salad lettuce and red cabbage. No tomatoes, croutons, crackers, just lettuce. The dressing came on the side from a bottle. The veggies were carrots and peas, so over cooked that they were tasteless and baby food has more firmness.The bread wasn't even toasted, the turkey wasn't roasted, it was 2 thin deli-like slices of some kind of prepackaged sandwich loaf meat, that I don't think was even turkey, lightly pan fried for a second covered in some cheap canned gravy substance that was artificial and tasteless. But even worse were the mashed potatoes. They were obviously cheap instant mashed potatoes, but they tasted bad, like they had been made with sour milk and generously mixed with Styrofoam powder! Gross! We both said the same thing at the same time, that something was wrong with the mashed potatoes! We sent it back and told our waitress and she came back and said they were fresh today, but they were cheap instant. Sorry, that wasn't it. They were bad and both of us are now feeling sick to our stomachs. I thought I may have to barf before leaving and probably should have, right on the gross food. It would have been an improvement. I used to like eating here, but never again!

  Good diner food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is served all day and their biscuits & gravy side is really good.
